MIDNIGHT IN THE ORANGE GROVE

Josephine “Josie” Paulus, a 17-year-old art student, finds out that her mother has developed cancer. The announcement triggers fragmented hidden memories that hint at a tragic event in her childhood. Her frantic nightmares, reflected in her darkening artwork, prompt her to start an intensive therapy process that uncovers the truth about her adoption. Meanwhile, a mysterious woman on a path of self-destruction emerges from the past. Josie embarks on a journey of self-discovery and acceptance that will allow her to move forward in life, find forgiveness, and fall in love under the moonlit skies of the orange groves.
